Indian Army Recruitment 2025 - Apply Offline for Havildar And Naib Subedar

The Indian Army has released an official notification for the recruitment of outstanding sportspersons as Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar (Sports) Intake Ser No 05/2025 under Sports Quota Entry. Interested and eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply offline. The application process closes on 15 December 2025. Candidates who have participated in International, Junior/Senior National Championships, or Khelo India Games from 01 October 2023 onwards are eligible.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
For Male Candidates:
- 1.6 Km Run: Qualify in 5 Min 45 Sec
- 9 Feet Ditch: Need to Qualify
- Zig-Zag Balance: Need to Qualify
For Female Candidates:
- 1.6 Km Run: Qualify in 8 Minutes
- 10 Feet Long Jump: Need to Qualify
- 3 Feet High Jump: Need to Qualify
Selection Process
- Short-listing based on higher sports achievements.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Physical Standards Test (PST).
- Skill Test (Sports-specific).
- Medical Examination at the trial site.
- Final Selection based on merit and vacancies.
How to Apply (Offline)
Applications are accepted ONLY through POST/OFFLINE mode.
- Download the application form from the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in on A4 size paper.
- Fill the form in BLOCK CAPITALS exactly as per Matriculation Certificate.
- Attach self-attested copies of Matriculation certificate, Aadhar Card, and Sports Certificates (from 01 Oct 2023 onwards).
