  • Eligible candidates can apply online via the official website: www.plw.indianrailways.gov.in.
  • Navigate to Departments > Personnel > Misc Activities > Engagement of Act Apprentices.
  • Register on the National Skill Development Corporation portal: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
  • Click 'New User Registration' to create Login Name and Password.
  • Fill out the application form with correct details and upload required documents (Photo, Signature, Bio-data, Matriculation/ITI Certificate, Caste Certificate).
  • Pay the processing fee of Rs. 100 + bank charges online.
  • Save the 'Application Number' generated and take a printout of the fee payment e-Receipt and filled application.

  • Selection Process: Based on Merit (Average of Matriculation + ITI marks). Formula: (Matriculation % + ITI %) / 2.
  • Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (1.5 times vacancies) will be called for DV.

STIPEND DETAILS
1st Year Training Rs. 9,600/- per month
2nd Year Training (Welder/Mech Diesel) Rs. 10,560/- per month
3rd Year Training (Machinist/Electrician/Fitter) Rs. 11,040/- per month
