  • Essential Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation) examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
  • Candidates must also possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Selection Process & Important Instructions

  • Selection Criteria: Selection will be on the basis of a merit list prepared from all candidates. The merit list is based on the simple average of marks in Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate) + ITI marks in the relevant trade.
  • In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate is preferred. If dates of birth are also same, the candidate who passed matriculation earlier is considered first.
  • A final merit list will be prepared trade-wise and community-wise.
  • Selected candidates will be called for Document Verification and must be found fit in the appropriate medical examination.
  • Training does not guarantee absorption in Railway employment.
  • Candidates must register with an Employment Exchange (except wards of RCF employees).

No physical copy needs to be sent to RCF.
